Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Auto Connect Consultants collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Who we are and what this covers
Auto Connect Consultants ("ACC", "we", "us") operates this website, the AutoHelper information and directory service, and provides AI readiness services to businesses.
This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. It covers our website, AutoHelper, and the forms on this site. It does not cover the practices of any business that advertises with us. Those businesses have their own privacy policies.
2. Information we collect
Website visitors. When you visit, we collect basic technical and usage information through analytics and cookies: pages viewed, time on page, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, and the page or campaign that referred you.
Inquiry form submissions. When you submit a form, we collect your name, business name, email address, phone number, city, the category you select, and any message you write. We also record the page you submitted from, the referring page, and campaign parameters in the link you followed.
AutoHelper conversation data. If you use AutoHelper, we collect the questions you ask and the information you provide during the conversation, along with general technical details about the session.
Advertiser account information. For businesses that purchase an advertising placement, we collect business contact details, billing contact details, the categories and service areas purchased, and the listing content you provide. Payment card details are handled by our payment processor, not stored by us.
3. How we use it
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to inquiries you send us and follow up on your request.
- Provide and improve AutoHelper and the information it returns.
- Operate the advertising directory, including publishing and maintaining paid placements.
- Send service communications such as replies, billing notices, and changes to these policies.
- Keep the site secure, prevent abuse, and meet our record-keeping obligations.
4. SMS messaging
We send text messages only to people who give express written consent by checking the SMS consent box on one of our forms. The consent box is never checked by default.
Consent to receive text messages is never a condition of any other service. You can submit any form, use AutoHelper, or purchase an advertising placement without agreeing to texts.
Reply STOP to any message to opt out. Reply HELP to reach support, or email us at the address in the Contact section. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
We keep a record of each consent — the wording shown, the date and time, and the information submitted with it — as proof that consent was given.
7. Advertising placements
Listings on our directory are paid advertising, sold at a flat monthly rate by category and service area, and clearly labeled as advertising.
A placement is not an endorsement. We do not evaluate, rank, or vouch for the businesses that advertise with us.
ACC does not receive compensation based on whether a consumer contacts an advertiser or what happens afterward. The monthly fee is the same either way.
8. Data retention
We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes described above.

9. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information we hold, including encrypted connections to this website and access controls on our systems.
No website or service can be completely secure. We cannot guarantee that information sent to us will never be accessed by someone who should not have it.
10. Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can also ask us to stop sending you marketing messages at any time. Email the address in the Contact section and tell us what you would like us to do. We may need to verify who you are before we act.
California residents. If you live in California, the CCPA and CPRA give you the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request a copy of it, to request that we correct it, and to request that we delete it. You also have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — though as stated above, we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. You can use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.
11. Children
Our services are not directed to anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Third-party links
Our site and AutoHelper include links to other websites, including advertisers' websites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. Read their policies before giving them information.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of the page. If the change is significant, we will make that clear on the site.
